Right...I understood that. From what you are saying, the event is available
from the Interface Icon and / or a framework then.

It is not the page which fires the event. The event is fired by the
framework or interface icon when it navigates to a new page in some manner.
Every single time the user causes the fw or interface to move form one page
to another the framework or interface fires the event.

Does that mean that the event is not available for 'normal' pages attached
to the interface?

the fw icon is the icon that fires the event.
Page navigation on it though nextPage(), prevPage(), gotoPage() etc causes
it to fire:
onPageClose - just before the current page is cleaned up and closed.
onPageOpen - just after the current page has initialised its content. Its
content may not have loaded when this event fires.

yep, frameworks fire onOpenPage and onClosePage, so you can get to things
either before the current page closes or after the next page opens,

Is there a page change event fired that we can trap so we can run some
script every time the page changes?
