The original principle was about reinforcing positive outcomes, but it is a problem when you don't appear to get any feedback when everything is wrong,

Subject: [Xerte-dev] Showing wrong answers

Hello

In the past we've always avoided putting crosses next to wrong answers (correct are ticked but incorrect are left blank). This works well when there is at least one correct answer on a page but when they're all wrong it can look like the marking's broken - nothing changes.

Do we want to stick with this approach? I've had a request for crosses to be added to sortable grid marking to make it clearer... what do you think?
Or maybe other ways of doing it... 'you have 0 out of 6 correct' or 'correct answers are ticked'

I guess we'd want it consistent across pages, we probably have a mixture of stuff happening at the moment

Thanks
Fay
