Hi Julian,
Accessible by design competition
Have you got a bright idea for using digital technology to support the access and inclusion of the UK's learners, staff and researchers? We’d like to help you turn it into a reality.
Following on from our successful Summer of Student Innovation competitions, our latest elevator challenge ‘Accessible by design<http://emails.jisc.ac.uk/c/1f0clE6atgCFrKJkh0leZ>’ invites teams of staff and students to submit innovative ideas that could provide solutions for individuals or a whole organisation.

If you're looking for inspiration, have a look at our accessible version of YouTube<http://emails.jisc.ac.uk/c/1f0dXthV0ndxAx3brjMqO>, guidance on supporting learners with disabilities<http://emails.jisc.ac.uk/c/1f0euKlPQK5aiN9NPqga5> and how to use mobile learning for accessible teaching<http://emails.jisc.ac.uk/c/1f0f21pKH6WN13gqdwJTm>.
To enter the competition you will need to upload a short video and text about your idea to our elevator website<http://emails.jisc.ac.uk/c/1f0fzitFxtOpJjn2BDdCD>. Submissions must have the potential to benefit more than just a single institution.
We'll announce the most popular ideas in late November 2015. These will receive £5000 in funding to support them through the discovery stage in the autumn and spring terms. In March, the successful teams will showcase their work at a national event.
We will develop a selection of the successful projects into products so that universities, schools and colleges across the country can reap the benefit.
