I can't reproduce this.
Could you please break and inspect, or print the values of
$_SESSION['elFinder']['uploadDir']; and
$_SESSION['elFinder']['uploadURL'];
in editor/elfinder/php/connector.php?
They are set in modules/*/edithtml.php
