Interesting... It's not included as part of Office 2011 for Mac (see screenshot) so if someone sends me a Word Doc then i'll see what shows... Word might embed the font with the .doc though if it's used, no?

Just to be clear - I take it you mean that it's not a default Window font but does ship with some versions of Word on Windows.
I wonder what this text displays as for those who don't have Eras Demi ITC installed?

Joel asked me what the Xerte font is today: I didn't have a clue.

We used WhatTheFont http://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ to identify it, from a screenshot of the website.

Turns out it is Eras Demi ITC and ships with some versions of Word (but not Windows). I have it on my machine, which runs Word 2010.

Maybe this is useful for someone.
