Hi,

MP4s need to have the moov atom, the index that contains the movie information moved to the start of the file to support progressive streaming. It is usually placed at the end of the file by default in a lot of converters...

It can be done on the server side though by this php library, should we attempt to detect and relocate? https://code.google.com/p/moovrelocator/

Yes it will only stream if coming from a streaming server! e.g. YouTube, Vimeo etc

We have some issues with videos, and I don't really know if it is an issue with our install, or that something changed in the
Javascript/HTML5 engine.

- When we use a local mp4 video file, it is not streaming, i.e. it has to be downloaded before it starts playing.

Is that expected behaviour?
