Never ever happened to me, not once.

It's like the Align bug in AW.
You just get used to hitting Save in preparation for the crash.

Not worth chasing.
Desktop is dead!
I just wondered - if it's an easy fix, then why not do it. There's something funny in the find command because
- Enter 'key'
- Hit search
- It finds the icons - matching case, which might be a problem
- To reset it you seem to have to press search twice, then it does run again.
But these might not be the problems you have.

It's not just the index problem.
My converted stuff blows up right away, so it's something in the format (though it is acceptable xml).
Not worth chasing.
Desktop is dead!

Have you got a copy of Flash? There's not much code in there if you want to tweak it.

Yes, you can.
But you then have to restart Xerte, taking care not to save it on exit.

OK. You can 'find' in other tools though...

Mine blows up on search 1
I suspect it's some anomaly in the code produced by the converter, though IE and Chrome both say it's well-formed (or at least don't throw any errors).
Not worth worrying about.

It looks like the index isn't getting reset between searches. I'm sure I wrote it, but it uses regular expressions, so I'm sure I didn't...

It works correctly in my simple example the first time (it doesn't find the scr with 'press any key' in unless scripts is checked), but then seems to get a bit screwed up?
The code is in Xerte svn, Components/engineFindReplace.fla

Say I'm trying to find just icons with the title Key.
So I only check the "Icon Titles" box.
But when I run it, I'm also picking up all the SCR's that have the work key in them.
//press any key
Could someone confirm that?
I'm re-authoring generated code, so it could be something in my code generator.
Cheers.
