Yes, also wondering about moving to Git and integrating git with Trac. You can only integrate Trac with SVN on the same server, but I think you can integrate Trac with a Github repo?

We've used trac for years internally and it's a great product - however you might find the project grows/has more contributions if you can use e.g. github ?
