(the 'can't edit LO' problem, rather than the audioSlideshow one).
Isn't Andrew a PalePurple user?

This sounds like another old problem, but unsure why it's still surfacing?

Subject: [Xerte] xot 1.9 install probs for hosting service
Hi
I have a hosted version of XOT and have asked the company to upgrade to the latest version - however, I am unable to edit a new LO and also there is one pagetype (audioslideshow) which now is not displaying an image correctly from an LO I created in the previous version of XOT - see attached. The host service has updated the XMLEngine.swf file, but that doesn't seem to help. Any thoughts that I can relay back to the hosting service so that I can get the latest version up and running?
Want to thank all of you working on XOT - it's a wonderful tool.
Best
Andy
