It'sloded thrugh a text field positioned off the stage. I can never remember how it works, but there is a good resource somewhere on loading runtime fonts that explains it. More than once I've had to step through that code, with reference to that resource to remind myself just exatly what is going on. Being able to load fonts at runtime, created with swfmill into swfs, is the point to support embedded fonts at runtime. The solution is nasty.
