We have the trunk, and 1.7 and 1.8. I thought trunk is what we were currently zipping up, so what's the best approach.

I'm happy to press the buttons, but I'm not sure I have a lot of insight as to what's actually happening with the code...

I'll re make all the templates stuff from the xerte SVN, so not worried about that, it's just the php stuff.

Do a diff across the two (I think tortoise has a branch or commit or
merge or something).

The logic is merge 1.7 into 1.8, expect 1.8 to then break (i would guess)

Freeze 1.7 and then fix 1.8.

Then 1.8 goes into trunk, and 1.9 is made for "developing"
