I'd suggest the following:

 

1. If a message and link is sent to the main list it needs to be carefully
worded regarding what feedback is required and how it should be supplied -
otherwise there will be lots of questions like how does this feature or that
feature work.

 

2. Probably also best to say that the beta is available but to sign up to
the dev list if you're interested in testing

 

3. Needs to also be repeated that this is Xerte not XOT but that perhaps
there will be a beta XOT to test separately in due course

 

Just my thoughts...

 

Have done a couple of quick tests myself but will test further later before
I send any feedback
