Dear All,

Thibault Le Pen, Wout Opdekamp and I recently published a small paper on 
the first three French records of Merodon auriolus:

Le Pen T., Opdekamp W. & N?ve G. 2025.
Merodon auriolus Vuji?, Likov et Radenkovi? in Vuji? et al. 2025, une 
nouvelle esp?ce pour
la faune de France (Diptera, Syrphidae).
L?Entomologiste 81 (6) : 417-421.

Abstract : - Merodon auriolus Vuji?, Likov and Radenkovi? in Vuji? et 
al. 2025 is reported
from France for the first time on the basis of three specimens caught in 
April and May in
Var and Bouches-du-Rh?ne departments. Its distinctive characteristics 
are described and
illustrated.

Dear all,

Whilst writing a short faunistic note about *Eristalinus megacephalus *and *E.
taeniops* in the lowlands I found an interesting paper which I'd like to
read:
Maritano, U. (2025). Citizen science reveals a rapid range expansion of a
Mediterranean hoverfly under climate warming (Diptera: Syrphidae).
Fragmenta entomologica, 57(2), 297?300.
https://doi.org/10.13133/2284-4880/1844
But the DOI is broken and my Firefox, Chrome and Safari browsers all give a
version of the same error code for the website that hosts the paper itself:
An error occurred during a connection to rosa.uniroma1.it.
Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Does someone have the paper perchance?
