Sad news to hear. Luis's Funds of Knowledge construct was a conceptual
breakthrough in thinking about asset-based pedagogy. And he was a prince of
a person.

We were saddened to hear about the death of National Academy of Education
member, Luis Moll, who passed away on March 5, 2024. The University of
Arizona has written an In Memoriam, which you can find online

thoughts go out to his family and friends.



If you are in the area, church funeral Mass will be on Thursday, March 21st
at 10:30 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
