Writing to endorse David's endorsement of Third Act. I too have joined.
At Piedmont Gardens, the senior community in which we live, we have a local
Climate Action Committee; we are promoting specific actions to retard if
not eliminate the impact of fossil fuels on our lives and the lives or our
descendants--in our homes, in our communities, and in our world. I have
yet to join the educators' subgroup, but now that I know you are involved,
David R., I will.
If you believe that preserving our environment and preserving our democracy
are important goals, then Third Act could be your go to organization.
