It would be interesting for the Reading Hall of Fame to weigh into these debates, particularly as they are taken up in policy decisions. The ridiculous claims that woman made on that video need to be contested, particularly if being considered by state legislatures. There is no scientific basis to her claims. They are in fact dangerous.

Carol and others. I asked Reading Hall of Fame folks the same question a few hours ago. A video related to the Reading Science Academy was attached to the writing of a bill going through the AZ state assembly requiring state wide testing of school children in reading before the end of this school year. I have just found a number of invitations to learn about the Science of Reading in three minutes from Stephanie Stollar Consulting and the Reading Science Academy. Before I sign in, to discover what this is all about, I decided to ask if anyone on this listserv knows about this. Yetta
