[Reading-hall-of-fame] Nominees

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all doing well. 

Just wanted to again invite  you to share nominations of yourself or Hall of Fame colleagues  who would be willing to assume the roles of President and Secretary at the conclusion of the 2021 annual meeting. 

Jan Dole and I will conclude our service at the end of the 2021 LRA conference. To make the transition of new Board members easier, Patty Anders has agreed to continue as Treasurer for at least another year. Thank you Patty. 

I would suggest that in the future no more than one Board leadership position change during the same year. I believe this would provide better support for the new Board member.

It will be very helpful to identify the new President and Secretary  before the 2021 conference so  the duties can be explained before the gavel and pen are passed. :-) 

You may identify yourself or a colleague. Please send your nominations only to me and I will share them with the Board.  lapp at sdsu.edu

If you have questions you’d like answered before volunteering for the Board, Jan Dole, Patty Andres, Norm Stahl and I are happy to answer them for you.
