Diane, would it be appropriate to invite my mentee, Dr. Joanne Marciano, to the mentoring session? I'm not sure she is planning to register for LRA, but if so, I thought it would be another opportunity for her to meet others in the RHF. She has been such a delight to work with these past 12 months.
Best,
Donna

Subject: [Reading-hall-of-fame] RHoF at LRA

[EXTERNAL SENDER - PROCEED CAUTIOUSLY]

Hello,
LRA via Gwen Mcmillon has requested that we have our annual meeting which is being billed as the RHOF Induction Meeting on December 1, 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. This year we won’t have to worry about eggs and bacon and will not be able to enjoy before meeting visits but hopefully it will offer a semblance that we are functioning as usual.:-). And yes, all help from technology gurus is welcome. Who wants to volunteer as our "Zoom-Oologists? I have requested information about the platform being used and if we’ll have screen share capabilities.

Thanks,
Diane

As a non-USA based member of RHF, I agree with Colin’s suggestion that we "get a small team of RHoF Zoom-ologists to plan something, with just one person from that team tasked to liaise with HQ over the best slot for timing.”

As I understand it, those involved are already working flat out to get the main conference online. Is there a RHoF program slot with presenters??? If no one has been informed of their timing slot, the answer is perhaps negative.

I’m wondering if we’re on our own, and need to get a small team of RHoF Zoom-ologists to plan something, with just one person from that team tasked to liaise with HQ over the best slot for timing.
