Dear Colleagues/Friends

Thanks to everyone who responded to the issue of the literacy scholars
represented on RHFame. I know this has been a concern
over the years and when I reviewed the list when I heard Margaret Meek had
died and didn't see her
name I thought I might suggest that we once again have a discussion about
how we keep nominees for membership
focussing on a greater range of languages, literacies and issues. This
might be an agenda item at the next face to face RHF
meeting. I hope to see many of you there.

Since I am writing to you, let me take a minute to say thanks to so many of
you who reached out to my family and me in response to
Ken's death on March 12th. You won't be surprised to know that there is
one article ready to be sent to a publisher on his desk and he recently
submitted his last coauthored book to Richard C. Owen on Reading for
Parents for review.
Hope you are all sheltering well. Yetta
