 My 84 year old body could not tolerate the 20+ hours of flying getting to wherever the conference is being held.

As I suggested in an earlier email, I am hoping the RHF members who are ALSO LRA members will respond.  Why? To maintain the financial viability of the organization.  As I speculated earlier, my inference is that they are looking for data that would permit them to cancel their contract without penalty because of the chilling effect of COVID on prospects for attendance.

I don't know about all of my RHF colleagues, but at my age, I am not likely to engage in air travel until and unless an effective vaccine has been developed and validated.

To those who are not LRA members, I apologize in advance for the intrusion on your time and space.

We hope that you and yours are safe and well during this time. We were thrilled that so many LRA members responded to our first request about the upcoming 2020 LRA Conference in Houston. We had 488 responses from the LRA membership.

We are sending out the survey one more time, hoping to get an even higher return rate so that the LRA Board can make informed decisions about next steps for LRA during this COVID-19 Pandemic. If you took the survey already, thank you; there's no need to respond again.

If you have not already responded, please consider doing so, even if you are not certain about your plans. It is important that we determine as soon as possible whether an in-person conference is a viable option for this year.
