Dear Mary Ellen,
I'm trying to keep up responding to the many emails I'm receiving related
to Ken's passing on March 14th.
I want to acknowledge the email you send to RHF re: the recent deaths we're
all so sad to know about. And
thank you for your response about Ken. I am not in a position to take
leadership in any session related to
our colleagues' passing but I am will to work with anyone interested in
such a possibility. I'm thinking we need
not just to recount what RHF folks have achieved but how we move forward
toward highlighting the more positive
role that knowledge about literacy learning and teaching has had on the our
language and literacy field. Let me know
if you've heard from anyone who might want to take the lead in such an
endeavor. Who's our current president who
probably should be involved. Names escape me these days when I can't look
things up quickly. Yetta
