Good people
For the past couple of years while I have been serving as the Historian for the Reading Hall of Fame, one of my tasks has been to bring some greater life to the biographical files of members as found on the RHF homepage. I have been paying much attention to those who have passed away. Currently I am trying to get individuals to write Tributes for deceased members of the RHF. There are not nearly enough Tributes for those who have passed away.
I was wondering whether any of you might be willing to take on such a task?
Some of the Tributes on the RHF site are rather short, and others are rather lengthy. Still you have to hunt through the many listings as there are not all that many...if you want examples. https://www.readinghalloffame.org. Pull down the members subfiles.
Might you be interested in doing this activity? It can be a colleague, a doctoral student colleague, a long time mentor, or someone whose contributions had great impact on your work (the Reading Pioneers group).
If so, please let me know of the individual for which you are willing to write the Tribute. If several other folks are moving in the same direction, we might need to limit the number of contributions.
You would simply send it to me as a word doc, and I will upload it. You would get credit for writing the Tribute.
Stay Healthy
Norm
