This is the result of a 3 year labor of love (we loved the topic and
working with one another), frustration (it was hard sometimes to get the
information we needed and even harder sometimes to interpret it),
collaboration (great team to work with--both the writers of the volume and
the producers of the research on which it was based) , and pride (we like
the finished product and the message it sends about the importance of
comprehension). It's a free download, so it's hard to beat the price.
Besides me, the authorship includes Annemarie Palincsar, Amy Berman, Gina
Cervetti, Panayiota Kendeou, Gina Biancarosa, Peter Afflerbach, Matt Hurt,
Jenni Higgs, and Miranda Fitzgerald.
