[Reading-hall-of-fame] Re: I just got this message this instant

I too am very sorry to hear of Jay’s passing. As well as being a major contributor to the field, Jay was a good friend and colleague at the University of Minnesota for over 30 years. He was also, as Jerry Johns points out, an extremely active person. I would often see him jogging up and down the stairs at the football stadium, although I did not join him in doing so. I will certainly miss him, as I know will many in our field.
