Thanks, Ken, for sharing your reflections.  Loved the remix of wisdom,
humor, and irony.

My favorite lines are the ones dealing with technology.  Some of us old
farts may not be digital natives, but we certainly have earned whatever
immigration status on the job.

As you named all of the specialists you see, I couldn't help but reflect on
the parallel between medicine and the debates we have about assembly line
versus holistic views of reading processes.

Thanks for starting the New Year off right, Ken.

Happy New Year to everyone in RHF.  As I said in my FB post about next
year, While I am wishing for a better year in politics, social justice,
ethics, and morality, I am painfully aware that better than 2017 is not a
very high standard to aspire to. Still----I am hoping we meet that standard.
