Greetings,

The Executive Board has asked me to write and let you know that our long-awaited upgrading of the RHOF Website is now complete. The Board would like to thank everyone for their patience. It has been a long process but it is now so much easier for you to update information at your individual RHOF site. Some nice examples have been provided by Peter Afflerbach (https://www.readinghalloffame.org/peter-p-afflerbach-inducted-2009), Jim Baumann (https://www.readinghalloffame.org/james-f-baumann-2014-inductee), and David Pearson (https://www.readinghalloffame.org/P_David_Pearson)

Editing your site is now very easy to do. Simply logon and then go to your site and select the “Edit” link to begin. Make certain to select “Save” when you have completed your work. If you would like me to assist you with any aspect of this process, just ask. I am happy to help.

This year, the Executive Board has a special initiative underway to populate all of the member information at our site. We appreciate your assistance with this initiative. If you have yet to provide information about your work and history, we encourage you to do so now.

We also have an initiative to populate deceased member information. Working with Norm Stahl and the History of Reading SIGs for both LRA and ILA we are adding a number of items in this area of our site.

If you have any concerns about the new interface, please let me and other members of the Executive Board know.

Wishing you all a wonderful New Year!

Don Leu

"Every one of us is given the gift of life, and what a strange gift it is.
If it is preserved jealously and selfishly, it impoverishes and
saddens. But if it is spent for others, it enriches and beautifies."

-- Geraldine Ferraro.
