Can I propose a change to the RHoF Standing Orders?

Proposed New Standing Order:

Any member who posts a vote, or a comment on a vote, to all 187 recipients on the RHoF list, thereby ignoring Vicki’s clear message sent to us earlier today ‘gently’ reminding us to send such messages to her directly at her Vanderbilt email address, shall be required to buy one drink for any or all RHoF members who request one at Vital Issues at the next available LRA/NRC meeting.

We had one nomination of a deceased colleague for consideration as a new member (deceased) of the Reading Hall of Fame. Ron Carver was nominated and his bio is attached.

Our procedures for this election is as follows...

We may elect deceased professionals who are eligible for membership; names of these nominees will appear on a second ballot.  Votes will be in the form of a yes-no vote, and there is no limit to numbers.
