Ken, beautifully stated. And Dr. Aaron would talk about you to the
doctoral students in his seminars.
In those days (early '80s), a new assistant professor in the department who
would one day teach doctoral courses was invited/required to sit in on his
doctoral seminars. I learned so much from him.
The basal reader guy and the whole language guy--friends! That message is
as clear to me tonight as it was when I first heard him praise your work.
You are spot on: "He represented an era in IRA when it was a platform for
all voices."
What a fitting tribute, Ken. So you...too.
