Hello,
As Historian, one of my projects this year has been to increase information about our members at the RHOF website (http://www.readinghalloffame.org), especially those who have gone on before us. You may recall that there was little information about any of our deceased members.
Thanks to a partnership with Norm Stahl and the History of Reading SIGs for both LRA and ILA, and thanks to my colleague Donna Bone, we have been working hard to increase the historical material about deceased RHOF members.
As we approach the annual breakfast meeting, I call upon each of you to quickly review the deceased members list (http://www.readinghalloffame.org/deceased-members ) for colleagues you may have known and review their material. If you know of other available material on deceased members, could you share it with us? We have a few empty spots. Thank you!
Also, Thanks go out to everyone who has update their own material at the RHOF website!! If you have not ydtdone so, I encourage you to update your own website. Maybe I can help?
Neil, our webmaster, has provided me with webmaster access and I have developed the ability (Dare I say new literacies?) :-) to update the RHOF website. If you need assistance with accessing and updating your own information, I encourage you to contact me. I can provide you with new access information should you require it. .
I wish I could attend this year’s meeting but, alas, my surgeon has called me in for a little tune up on my knee at Yale. As I work ferociously hard at rehab, I will be sending you all my very best, hoping to be able to join you next year.
Cheers,
Don

"Every one of us is given the gift of life, and what a strange gift it is.
If it is preserved jealously and selfishly, it impoverishes and
saddens. But if it is spent for others, it enriches and beautifies."
