Colleagues,

If you’re planning on being at the 2016 NCTE conference in Atlanta, please think about joining a session of Reading Hall of Fame members. Yetta (Goodman) and I have interacted about a potential topic—an abstract for which follows. We believe that there are lots of perspectives that can be taken on this topic, including modes of reading with reading genre.

I’m a little late on this—the proposal is due on the 13th of January. If you can be part of the session, all I need is several sentences of a description and also a title.

Please let me know if you’re interested at your earliest convenience. Information can follow--by midnight on January 11 (that’s Pacific time).

Best wishes for a great new year—

Freddy
