[Reading-hall-of-fame] Election of President-Elect (Gentle reminder)

Deadline for nominating a RHOF member to serve as President-Elect is Friday, February 5.  Please note information below.  (Also, list of those who have served as President can be found on website - under Members; website also identifies current members of RHF).

Please send your nomination for President-elect TO MY EMAIL (ritabean at pitt.edu) BY FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2016. PLEASE DO NOT SEND TO THE LISTSERV. I look forward to receiving your nomination

 According to the by-laws, it is time to elect a President-elect who will take office in July 2016 and work with me, as current President, until July 2017. At that time, the President-elect will assume the office of President.
Our procedure calls for individual members of the Reading Hall of Fame to nominate one member who "in his/her opinion, would be qualified to serve as President-elect. Those who have served are not eligible for nomination." I will then submit to membership the names of two individuals having the highest number of nominations (and who have indicated a willingness to serve). (From Bylaws).
