[Reading-hall-of-fame] Results of Voting - Dues Structure

Tim Rasinski, our treasurer, reported the results of the voting about the proposed dues structure for the Reading Hall of Fame.  The vote was nearly unanimous, with members accepting the new structure, which requires a one-time dues payment.  Many thanks to Tim and his committee for their work.   The new structure will be implemented in in January, 2017, for current members.  (Those members attending ILA in Boston may pay their 2017 dues at that time, if they wish.  They will not be expected to pay  dues after that one-time payment).    New inductees will be expected to pay their membership dues of $250, in July 2016, but can pay that amount over a 5 year period.    See proposal below.



Proposal for change in dues structure.  Change the dues structure of RHOF to a one-time payment. Existing members of 10 years or less would be asked to make a one-time payment of $100, due January, 2017. Members of 10 or more years would be asked to make a one-time dues payment of $50, due January, 2017. New members would be asked to pay a one-time membership dues of $250 that can be paid over 5 years, with initial payment due at induction in July 2016.
