[Reading-hall-of-fame] Reading Hall of Fame - upcoming request for nominations

As the incoming President of the Reading Hall of Fame, I'm learning a great deal about how our organization functions and the many responsiblities of our Executive Board (Vicki Risko, secretary; Jane Hansen, Past-President;  Tim Rasinski, Treasurer;  and Don Leu, Historian).  There is much more to keeping our organization going than I realized.  So, any help or advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

The purpose of this email is twofold:

1. In the next few weeks, you will receive an email message from Vicki Risko, secretary, requesting nominations for membership in the Reading Hall of Fame.  Please note criteria for submissions and deadlines.

2. Update profiles/bios on website.   We encourage you to update your profiles/bios on the website.  Several of us on the Executive Board, in going to the website to locate information about members, have found information to be lacking or out-of-date.  It's easy to update your profile--specific information is provided under a section, "update profile."   If you have difficulties, you can contact our webmaster, Neil Liwanag  (webmaster at readinghalloffame.org<mailto:webmaster at readinghalloffame.org>   Updating your profile will help RHOF members - and also others (young scholars, researchers)  who access the website to obtain information about RHOF members.     Please take a few minutes to do this--and many thanks!
