Don,
I don't think you realized that you shared your vote with the entire RHF listserv.
I think it's best for all of us to keep our votes between Vicki and each of us personally. Public sharing might result in some hurt feelings or stark surprises.

Hello everyone!
It is now time for the second round of voting for living nominees who are eligible for membership in the Reading Hall of Fame. Attached are the Ballot of 10 nominees and the list of bios for each. These ten were in a cluster receiving the most votes, outdistancing their peers, in the first round of voting. This will be the final round of voting on these nominees.
In accordance with the motion passed at the Summer 2015 meeting, we will elect " five new members, with no less than two nominees who are non-U. S. nationals with permanent residence outside the United States", The non-U.S. nationals are listed as internationals on the Ballot and the list of bios.
Send your 5 selections to me by the end of the day of Friday, October 30, 2015.
Please email your selections to me directly at: victoria.j.risko at vanderbilt.edu<mailto:victoria.j.risko at vanderbilt.edu> Please do not send your selections to our group email address.
Once again, I invite you to read the bios of the individuals who are finalists for this round of voting. Enjoy reading about the wonderful nominees.
Rita Bean, President, will announce early in November the results of the two elections (i.e., living nominees and deceased nominees eligible for membership).
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello everyone,
I hope you are doing well and enjoying this time of the year and the start of another academic year. And I thank all of you who submitted nominations for new members to the Reading Hall of Fame.
It is time to vote on the nominees that were submitted for potential membership.
At the summer July 2015 meeting, we voted on two motions that relate to bringing in new members to the Reading Hall of Fame. This email and the attached materials are presented in accordance with one of those two motions. (I will send a second email that relates to our second motion... so that you are not receiving too many attachments at once!).
We approved the motion that five new members, with no less than two nominees who are non-U. S. nationals with permanent residence outside the United States, be elected during 2015-2019.
Attached are the bios and the primary ballot A listing the 23 nominees, including 5 individuals who are non U. S. Nationals and referenced as internationals in the documents attached.
This round of voting will be followed by a second and final ballot of those nominees receiving the highest number of votes.
Please vote for no more than 5 nominees, with at least 2 representing non U. S. nationals with permanent residence outside the United States and send your 5 selections to me by the end of the day of Friday, October 16, 2015. Please email your selections to me directly at: victoria.j.risko at vanderbilt.edu<mailto:victoria.j.risko at vanderbilt.edu> Please do not send your selections to our group email address.
You will receive the final ballot shortly after October 16. The deadlines for voting will allow us to complete the primary and final balloting by the end of October.
Enjoy reading about the wonderful nominees. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
