Hi everyone,

One correction is needed - Henrietta Dombey is the correct spelling for Henrietta's last name and should be listed as such on the ballot. I have changed the spelling as I record the votes on my end. No need to resend your votes, if you have already voted.

Thank you for the votes that are coming in so quickly!! Vicki

Subject: [Reading-hall-of-fame] [SPAM?] Voting for new member of RHofF: Votes on Final Ballot due by Wednesday, February 8, 2015

Hello everyone, I hope this notes finds you well and enjoying the New Year! Yikes, is it possible that January is almost over?!

Thank you for voting during the primary ballot phase for new members to the Reading Hall of Fame. We now have reduced the list to 14 candidates for membership. These individuals are listed on the attached Final Ballot. Bios for each candidate are provided in a second attachment.

As decided several years ago at the annual meeting, we will be electing seven new members, at least three of whom must be international.

On the final ballot are 14 nominees, five of whom represent the international community. All 14 received the highest votes from our first round of voting.

Please vote for no more than 7 nominees, with at least 3 representing the International community and send your 7 selections to me by Wednesday, February 8, 2015. Please email your selections to me directly at: victoria.j.risko at vanderbilt.edu Please do not send your selections to our group email address.

This deadline for voting will allow us to complete the balloting in time to notify those elected so that they can make arrangements to attend the IRA convention and the Reading Hall of Fame meeting in St. Louis, Missouri in July 2015.

Once again, enjoy reading about the wonderful nominees. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
