[Reading-hall-of-fame] RHoFame Approval of Two Officers

Hello to all Reading Hall of Fame members, 
I am writing to ask for your approval of two officers.

One is Tim Rasinski as the next treasurer of Reading Hall of Fame.

The other is Donald Leu as the next historian.

Please send me an email by November 29 in which you state your opinion of each.

The new officers will assume their roles at the end to our 2015 annual meeting on Sunday, July 19, in St. Louis. 

The treasurer’s term is for four years, and Alan will mentor the new person throughout this year so the person will be ready to fully assume the role when the new term begins.

The historian’s term is for three years, and will work this year with the Goodmans.

The process we are following for these approvals is follows our bylaws: The president, president-elect (Rita Bean), and one other member (Vicki Risko) appointed by the president shall serve as a committee to select one nominee for each position. Those names will be submitted to the membership for approval.

We have selected Don and Tim, they have said they are willing to serve, and I look forward to your response to this request for their approval.
