Subject: [Reading-hall-of-fame] Supporting Young Scholars Mentoring Program

Information about the Reading Hall of Fame mentoring program (2014), Supporting Young Scholars, is available on the RHOF website. We had a successful inaugural year in 2013, pairing 5 young scholars with RHOF mentors. We look forward to receiving applications (due June 1, 2014) for this second year. The goal of the program is to support for four years the literacy research efforts of a small number of young scholars who are entering or completing the first year of their first academic position.
Information and the application for the SYS program is posted on the Reading Hall of Fame website (www.readinghalloffame.org<http://www.readinghalloffame.org/>) . Please share this information with your colleagues and potential candidates. For your information, we are also attaching a flyer describing the program. If you have questions, please contact Rita Bean (ritabean at pitt.edu<mailto:ritabean at pitt.edu><mailto:ritabean at pitt.edu>)
