Hello Reading Hall of Fame members, 

It is time for us to solicit nominations for the position of President-Elect. 

For the President-Elect, each member is invited to nominate one member who, in your opinion, is well-qualified to serve in this position. Those who have served as President are not eligible for nomination. Attached is the list of all current members, and the single stars indicate those who have served as President.

Please email your nominations to me by Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Please do NOT send them to the listserve!   Please send your nominations to me at:

When I have received the nominations, I will send out the names of the two members who have the highest number of nominations, and members will vote to fill the position.

The President-Elect will assume the office at the close of our annual meeting/breakfast on Sunday, May 11, 2014, New Orleans.

The term of office for the President-elect is until the next annual meeting, July 2015, St. Louis, after which the person will automatically become President for a period of two years. There is no provision for a President to serve two terms 

I begin my second year in New Orleans, which is why we need to vote for a President-Elect at this time.
