Our latest baby (publication) arrived by FedEx today. I've always feel that
completing articles and books are like the end of a pregnancy.

Whose Knowledge Counts in Government Litearcy Policies: Why Expertise
Matters edited by K.S. Goodman, Robert C. Calfee, Yetta M. Goodman arrived
today at our house and is available from Routledge and on their website.
Chapter authors will get copies soon. Authors include: Shannon, Dombey,
Short, Bishop and Bloome as well as Teale, Jessica Hoffman, Wilson, Hanson,
Hiebert, Van Sluys, Au, Raphael, Valtin, Ellis, Dombey and Fijalkow.
Remember that Ken and I are planning to send copies of this book to any
lawmaker, school professional, state department of education people, etc.
in the U.S. who might benefit from this book. If you have such folks that
you know and want them to have a copy of the book, send Ken a snail
address, title of person, etc. and we'll send the book out in your name. If
you include a message for the person, we will include it. We won't get
these copies for a couple of week, I think.
