I believe we have a policy that members nominated for the honorary list of
Reading Hall of Fame (we have members, pioneers, deceased members, and
honorary members - nominated after death -- see website) can be nominated
two or three (can't remember) years after death. Keep that in mind Bill and
you can nominate Iris then.

There are numbers of literacy scholars who should be in the Reading Hall of
Fame who have died. We don't get many nominations for the honorary member
category. Ken will be offering a motion to be discussed at our next
breakfast meeting that there be a committee appointed by RHF president who
will nominate a specific number of deceased scholars for honorary
membership. every year.

In any case, thanks for letting us know about Iris, Bill and do keep in
touch if you hear more about honoring her. Yetta
