[Reading-hall-of-fame] Passing of Hal Herber

Dear Friends,

The early morning e-mail brought the sad news of the passing of Hal Herber.  We have 
lost a good friend and leader in the reading field. Hal died peacefully at home at 6:50 a.m. this morning, June 6th.  Joan asked that I notify Hal's friends - many of whom are Hall of Fame members.

There will be a celebration of his life in the near future. Should you wish, send mail to:
