This has to be a money making scheme on IRA's part. My guess: IRA gets a "royalty" for lending its name to the advertisement and distributing the electronic flyer to its membership. If so, they must have a member-run vetting process, right??? Tell me I'm wrong on the first assertion, or, if not, right on the second.

Obviously, to answer this question, we all must pay $849 (Package A) for this workshop, or perhaps for a more in-depth answer $2,537 (Package B) or for the ultimate answer - $8,877 (Package C)!!!!!

Folks: I am somewhat surprised to see the International Reading Association
sponsoring a program that will quote"engage the "Whole Learner" using
multiple intelligences"end quote. I have followed Howard Gardner's work on
multiple intellingences from its inception and have yet to find evidence
supporting it either conceptually or empirically as a basis for instruction
and I'm wondering if any of you have found evidence that I may have missed.
I'm also somewhat put-off by terms like the quote"Whole Learner"end quote
in professional development. That term seems to lack any sensible meaning
to me. What on earth is a "whole learner" ?
