[Reading-hall-of-fame] Important message from Colin Harrison

Esteemed colleagues- please listen to Uncle Colin!
If you post messages that you intend to go to our list at <reading-hall-of-fame at nottingham.ac.uk>, but that address is just one of twenty of more addresses to whom the message is addressed, then YOUR MESSAGE WILL NOT GET POSTED.
You won't notice- because you have probably hit 'Reply to all', and you see your message when it gets posted back to you.
But RHoF at Nottingham will have rejected it, because it is set to reject as spam messages with 20 or more recipients. Now I don't really want to change that setting, because the list rejects dozens of spam messages every week, and you and I don't want our mailboxes full of spam.
I have looked at some of the messages that have been rejected because of the 20+ recipient rule, and these are very important.
One recent thread is about IRA's plans to sell its property (OUR property) and rent it back from the purchaser. I asked those RHoF colleagues who were emailing each other on this to post to the list, not just to a long list of colleagues, with RHoF as one recipient.
Another thread (which I only found by chance) concerns the date of the RHoF meeting in Orlando, which has been moved to the Wednesday. Apparently this was already fixed before 15 November last (see below).
Because this is so important, I'm posting the messages below. Please note that, so far as I am aware NOBODY HAS POSTED ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE DATE OF THE MEETING TO OUR RHOF LIST.
So- if you want to post a message the 102 folk on the RHoF list, please don't bury it in a message to 24 people, most of whom are already on the list! Write to <reading-hall-of-fame at nottingham.ac.uk>
Many thanks
Colin
Please see below for a transcript of the failed messages on the RHoF meeting date, so far as I have been able to reconstruct them.

I have also planned to leave on Tues after what I thought was the RHF breakfast. Patty anders

If it has been moved to Wednesday there is going to be a lot of unhappy people, including me, who have booked reservations assuming it is Tuesday. Alan also responded (when you did) that the meeting was Tuesday at 7:30. But Frank is going to be just as angry because I know he had already booked flights based on a Wednesday date.

Hi
I'll double check. It has always been on a Tuesday. I'll get back to you.
