Hi Ken,

I’m doing much needed upgrades on the hall of fame website this week
including the following tasks:

1.Upgrade core drupal software to version 6.20
2.Install security upgrades (modules and anti-spam)
3.Upgrade contributed modules to latest versions
4.Upgrade site’s theme with a more user-friendly admin interface (there will
be some minor changes in style but the general “look and feel” of the site
will be the same).
5.Implement a members’ admin interface (totally different from the site’s
“look”) so that it will be more obvious to members when they are logged in
and are editing or creating new content.
6.A new page where officers could upload/edit business documents such as
minutes, financial statements, etc.
7.Online tutorials and help documentation on using the site
8.Install a new and more efficient text editor (wysiwyg editor buttons on
the forms)
9.General clean up of code

To do these, I’ll have to take the site off-line from 9pm-12am and/or
2am-5am (eastern time) from Monday to Friday this week. Could you announce
this to members via listserv? Hope it wouldn’t be too much inconvenience for
folks.
