The name of those unwilling to serve will have been deleted. Each member will vote for his/her preference of one of the two nominees. The candidate with the higher number of votes shall become the President-elect.

The President, the President-elect, and one other member appointed by the President shall serve as a committee to select one nominee for Treasurer, Secretary, or Historian. That person?s name, after his/her approval, will be submitted to the membership for approval.

If the President-elect is unable to serve for any reason, the nominee second in preference on the ballot shall automatically assume the duties of the President-elect. If the office of the Secretary is not fulfilled at any time for any reason, the duties of that office shall be handled by the President. If the office of the Treasurer is not fulfilled at any time for any reason, the duties of that office shall be handled by the Secretary until such time as the office is filled.

It may make sense to permit multiple terms as treasurer, secretary, or historian (do we have other officers?). I know that Dick Hodges was our able treasurer for at least the first 15 years that I was in the organization, and that worked REALLY well.
