Dixie Massey   <ddmassey at u.washington.edu>   a member of the IRA History 
Sig is looking for bio information for Donald Durrell, Olive Niles and 
Helen Murphy because of their involvement in the first grade studies.
If anyone has any information to offer, I am pleased to send it on to 
her or you can email it directly to Dixie.  She will also send us any 
information she unearths for our virtual Reading Hall of Fame regarding 
these members.

I would be happy to share the biographies with you as I finish them. I 
am finding very little on Helen Murphy. I have been particularly 
interested in the "lineage" of some of the historical figures. Durrell, 
Murphy, and Niles are particularly interesting with their involvement in 
the first grade studies. If any of you have suggestions for finding more 
out about Helen Murphy, I'd appreciate the help!     Dixie
