[Reading-hall-of-fame] Kindle

Hello Jan,

They're great, actually. But I see them co-existing with conventional
print/on-paper books, as well as with multimedia texts rather than
replacing--each affords something slightly different form my
experience. Also, the Kindle doesn't understand (paper) picture books
and the page turn at all. It will be interesting, though, to see if a
new page turn develops as a result of this technology.

Dear all
I have been exploring the Kindle on the Amazon site today. It has
really only just hit Australia so there has not been much information
about it. Has anyone got one, used one? Will they take over from books??

Look forward to your views

Jan
