Dear colleagues
The Department of Mathematics Education at Loughborough is currently advertising opportunities at the lecturer and senior lecturer levels.
These are open-ended research and teaching posts focused on mathematical cognition. At least two positions are available (hopefully more).
Because the teaching associated with these posts will primarily be on our undergraduate psychology programmes, successful candidates will need to meet the requirements set out in the BPS accreditation guidelines, by having "a demonstrable track record in research or other scholarly activity of relevance to psychology."
You can find out some details of the research conducted in Loughborough's Centre for Mathematical Cognition on our website:
https://www.lboro.ac.uk/research/cmc/
We currently host the Centre for Early Mathematics Learning (CEML), a large ESRC research centre. Details of CEML’s programme of work are available here:
https://ceml.ac.uk/
The two job adverts are available here:
https://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/DOG802/lecturer-in-mathematical-cognition
And here:
https://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/DOG812/senior-lecturer-in-mathematical-cognition
The deadline is 30th September.
Please share with anyone you think might be interested.
All the best
Matthew
