Dr. Tom O'Brien died at 11:26 PM, December 6, 2010. There is a memorial being 
planned for mid January, 2011. If you would like to write to his wife Gail 
Marshall and her family her address is 665 South Skinker Blvd, Apt 4D, St. 
Louis, MO 63015. Her e-mail address is tobrien001 at earthlink.net or 
gailandtom at compuserve.com . Gail tells me that there should be an obit posted at 
the St Louis Post Dispatch by tomorrow or as soon as the memorial service date 
is set.
Tom and his wife Gail Marshall had returned to St Louis about a year ago after 
having lived in CA for several years. Their new living quarters over looked 
Forest Park. Through the Internet Tom was active in his math and political life 
all way up until a couple of days prior to his death.
Apparently Tom had been fighting cancer for quite some time but was sure he 
could solve this problem like he does all of his math problems so he did not 
tell anyone of his illness. His wife Gail honored his wish not to tell anyone of 
his battle against cancer.
