Salary: £44,930 - £55,259 per annum (with progression to £55,259
subject to satisfying competence specified requirements)
The Institute of Education has recently achieved an outstanding result
in the 2008 RAE. 55% of our research is categorised as internationally
excellent or world leading. The Institute is looking to appoint a
Reader in Education as soon as possible. Applications are sought from
applicants with research interests which will further strengthen our
research portfolio. Our key criterion is to appoint a successful and
energetic researcher, who has the capacity to further develop their
own research activities and contribute to the development of research
aspiring colleagues. The successful applicant will have a substantial
and growing research reputation, and experience of securing and
managing funded research and consultancy projects
